In order to create closer ties between key stakeholders of the health & 3D printing sectors, CARDIOPATCH’s partners are developing a series of events in the different regions that are part of the European initiative co-funded by the Interreg Sudoe Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
One of these encounters is scheduled for the 16th of November at Pamplona, Spain, under the name “Synergies between Health & 3D Printing agents” and it will connect the main actors from the regions of Basque Country and Navarre that are working in these two fields.
The forum, organised by the partners CIMA and Leartiker, aims to create a networking space to strengthen ties between the regional agents and boost new possibilities of collaboration and new opportunities of innovation in the biomedical sector.
Mrs. Uxúe Itoiz, General Director of the S3 Industry, Energy and Strategic Projects of the Government of Navarre, will preside over the opening of the regional event at 9:15 AM in the Assembly Hall of CIMA. The entry is free and the registration process is available following this link.
During the day, specialized companies and technology centers such as Optimus 3D, I+Med, Izasa Scientific, Naitec, and Viscofan, associated partner on the biotechnology developments that are being created on the CARDIOPATCH project, have been invited to showcase their innovative solutions.
In addition, a networking session, a round table discussion about new possibilities for the health sector companies and a talk related to the funding opportunities for cooperative projects will be part of the full programme.
The Economic Development and Business Adviser of the Government of Navarre, Mr. Mikel Irujo, will close the meeting at 1:30 AM.
This event will be celebrated in the framework of CARDIOPATCH Project, which combines regenerative medicine and 3D printing technologies to develop an innovative patch to regenerate damaged heart tissue after a myocardial infarction.
Led by Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN), CARDIOPATCH includes partners from Spain, France and Portugal: CIMA Universidad de Navarra, via the Foundation for Applied Medical Research, Leartiker Technology Center, Fundación Institut de Recerca de l’Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, communication agency GUK, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse, the University of Montpellier (UM) - Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron (IBMM), GenIbet Biopharmaceuticals and the Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica.
