In order to promote the cooperation between the biomedical sector and the new technologies, the CARDIOPATCH R&D project, co-financed by the European Union's Interreg Sudoe programme, has launched its website, a virtual space created to encourage direct communication with stakeholders, boost synergies and promote collaboration between leading players in the biomedical industry and 3D printing companies in South-Western Europe.
The website is divided into several sections where it is possible to find information related to the project. The first stop or Home shows a brief summary of CARDIOPATCH. The first sections of the menu, The Network and Members, detail who the associated partners and partners of the project are, why the work they are doing is so crucial and which are the initiative’s goals and values. The website also shows details about the CARDIOPATCH’s Therapy Model, its application and its benefits.
On the other hand, the Services section is the nerve center of the website, as it includes the most dynamic tools of the platform.
Within that section, the subsection Funding opportunity search tool provides the latest calls for public and private proposals available in the target sectors of the project and it has filters to facilitate the searching. The second subsection, the Capacities Map, allows to travel geographically through South-Western Europe searching for research centres and entities focused on the biomedical sector and 3D printing technologies. In addition, it offers the opportunity to add new actors to the network in an intuitive way for the user. Finally, the Openlab of Synergies is an interactive and coworking space, which allows the user to publish and find requests and offers for cooperation in the areas related to the project.
Finally, the website also offers a section where the latest relevant News associated to the initiative are published together with updated audiovisual content.
In order to enjoy all the services offered by the platform it is essential to register through the form accessible in the Participate in the Network section.
